A Review of One Dead Spy by Nathan Hale

Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales: One Dead Spy
by Nathan Hale
Published 2012
Amulet Books
128 Pages
Historical Fiction
Graphic Novel

One Dead Spy is set during The American Revolution. It is the mostly true story of Nathan Hale who was a spy for the Patriots. We liked the graphic novel format. We also liked all of the real events such as the Boston Massacre and The Boston Tea Party that we already learned about.
Some of the men in the book were brave because they dived into freezing cold water in the winter to get a canon.
Nathan was not the best spy, but we will let you read the book to find out why.
If you like books with action, adventure, history and you like graphic novels, you might like One Dead Spy and the other books in the Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales series.
